Mikveh Israel Visitor

The first agricultural school in the country, Mikveh Israel is a rare green jewel preserved exactly as it once was, with very old trees and lovely buildings reminiscent of a 19th century pastoral French village. It includes attractions such as the statue of Herzl, a palm-lined boulevard, a late 19th century synagogue, wine cellars hewed out of sandstone, a metal workshop, an old Bengal fig tree and a unique botanical garden.
